Welcome to the website for Dreams and Nightmares magazine. DN is a print magazine of science fiction and fantasy poetry. DN was founded in January of 1986. I have enjoyed doing this all these years. One of the best parts is picking out really wonderful poetry to send to subscribers.
NEWS :: 2010 HAIKU CONTEST AWARD
David C. Kopaska-Merkel won the University of Alabama 2010 haiku contest with the following:
meltwater
drips from leaf tips
crocus buds open
And his daughter, Lillian, won in the high-school division with:
ashes on the breeze
in their wake young leaves
and blossoms unfold
